Problem: True Roots Massage contacted me to create a thank you card for her business. The scope of the project was design using her established business logo adding additional lines and leaves. She also requested a custom font to have the appearance of twigs and leaves.

Solution: True Roots offers several holistic services, not just massage, so I knew the design flow needed to be natural, balanced, and have visual interest. I utilized a mind map to get a feel for the tone of her business and visited her studio to observe the environment. I created a frame around the logo to resemble a branch, then added leaves with different stroke weights. The font letter strokes are a heavier weight with lighter weight strokes for the leaves.
